History
Mount Hotham is Australia's highest cycling climb, reaching 2,191 m in the Victorian Alps. The 31 km ascent from Dinner Plain at 2.4% average is extremely long with deceptively gentle gradients.
The road winds through alpine forest and open high-altitude terrain with views across the Australian Alps. The combination of length and altitude makes it a serious endurance test.
